All online bookings are for two hours only.

Reservations of up to 16 guests can be made online using the below tool. Bookings of 8 guests or more must opt into our set menu which can be viewed here. For longer bookings or groups of 17 or more, please contact us directly at bookings@maya-mexican.com.au.

We understand that plans change. If you can no longer attend, please contact us 48 hours prior to cancel or reschedule your booking with no penalty. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice and no-shows will be charged a cancellation fee of $40 per person. Your credit card details will be taken at the time of booking; however, you will only be charged in the event you do not contact us to cancel your booking. We appreciate your understanding.

  • MAYA is open for dining and drinks Wednesday through Sunday from 12pm until late.

    To make a reservation (for groups of 16 or less) please book online here. If you are unable to secure a reservation through our website, please try an alternative date or time. Alternatively, you can contact our friendly reservations team on (07) 3067 7447 or bookings@maya-mexican.com.au

    For groups of 17 guests or more, please reach out to us directly at bookings@maya-mexican.com.au and we will respond to your reservation request via email.

    Please note that groups of 8 or more are required to dine on our shared menu, available here.

    We operate on two hour booking times. We ask that the table is returned after this time to accommodate other guests

    Drinks-only bookings are available from 9:30pm onwards.

  • MAYA has been carefully furnished with stunning décor, and we find that it does not need much to make it feel special! To maintain our unique look, we generally do not permit guests to bring decorations unless pre-approved by our Bookings Manager. We kindly ask for your understanding in refraining from bringing balloons, confetti, or costumes into the venue, as these items are prohibited.

    Should you have any specific requests or ideas for special occasions, please feel free to reach out to our Bookings Manager for approval.

  • MAYA offers drinks packages for groups of 40 people or more. If you are interested in hosting an event with MAYA, please get in touch with our Events Team at events@maya-mexican.com.au to learn more about what we offer.

  • At the commencement of your booking, you can split the payment over one or two cards. Guests can set up a bar tab for their table or order and pay for their drinks at the bar. MAYA does not do itemised split bills.

  • MAYA does not host celebrations for minors, 18th or 21st Birthdays. Please be advised, aligned with our T&C’s MAYA reserves the right to refuse any reservation, we believe to be of this nature, without notice.

  • MAYA does welcome walk-in guests. However, please note that our ability to welcome walk-in guests is dependent on capacity at the time, along with the weather. As a result, it is recommended guests make a booking where possible as we have limited availability for walk-ins.

  • At MAYA, we pride ourselves on maintaining a smart-casual dress policy to enhance the overall experience for all patrons. We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to the following guidelines:

    Attire
    Men are asked to wear collared shirts or neat T-shirts.

    No sportswear brands or athletic wear including baseball hats, sweatpants and hoodies.

    Please ensure appropriate footwear is worn. Thongs are not permitted at any time.

    Costumes
    Costumes are not allowed unless you are attending a themed event organised by MAYA.

    Tattoo Policy
    MAYA prohibits tattoos that may be considered offensive.
    Head and face tattoos are not permitted unless they hold cultural significance.

  • MAYA does not have air conditioning; however, we've strategically placed fans throughout the venue to ensure a comfortable experience during the warmer months.

    Being a rooftop venue, we're fortunate to enjoy refreshing breezes and the warmth of sunshine. Additionally, our venue features retractable awnings and roofs, providing ample shade from the sun and protection during inclement weather, including rain.

    Please be aware that poor weather conditions may impact our ability to accommodate walk-in guests. We appreciate your understanding and flexibility in such situations.

  • MAYA does not have any onsite parking, however, there is on-street parking throughout Fortitude Valley. McLachlan Street, Wickham Street, and Bridge Street are within walking distance of MAYA. Please be aware of street signage and any parking requirements. There is also Secure Parking in the McWhirters Building, which is accessed via Warner Street.

  • MAYA has live DJs Thursday-Sunday. To ensure the comfort of all guests in the venue, we do not allow guests to have their own music, entertainment or audio unless they have booked out the venue exclusively for a private function. Guests may present speeches to their table of guests but audio equipment will not be provided.
